Thanks for sharing your experiences Dr. Paddy. I guess I am in the same phase at present when work for you was very important. But after reading this story, I am convinced that all sections of my life have to change for a better future. Thank you again.

Really appreciate your breakdown. These seem to be ubiquitous lifestyle changes from many people offering how to better their lives and general health. My biggest focus these days is prioritizing sleep, which has helped me tremendously!

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate a doctor who is open and I can relate much better to one who is also concerned about CVD.

Would you mind sharing what meds you take to lower your numbers? It’s not that I’m going to jump on the same meds but it will give me an idea of what you consider valuable drugs to use.

I have drastically altered my diet but like you say; “it’s an everyday struggle” and I feel ready for another solution.

Thanks for all you do for us high lipoprotein a carriers.

I use standard generic cholesterol lowering medications. It’s not the medication that matters but the lower bound target and that you get there.

You mention having five gene variants that drive up your CVD risk; are you able to share which test to ask for to get this information please?

Out of curiousity, what time do you routinely go to sleep and wake up each day? And also when it comes to cholesterol, did you just say you eat what you want and if you keep the other 4 things going the cholesterol will look after itself or do you take cholesterol lowering medication + eat what you want + keep the other 4 things going.
