I have read that plaque erosion is a significant mechanism for acute coronary syndrome and would appreciate your take on what to do to reduce the risk of plaque erosion.
Correct. Erosion is a mechanism of acute events. They are prevented the same way. Stabilising plaque and regressing if possible. Nothing unique as far as we are aware.
Who funded this study and what were they trying to show. I assume it is a group that is arguing that low fat plant based is the only diet. Imagine if they threw in another group (the Keto group). Hm, that might put an end to the meat v low fat vegetarian debate. I don’t need to look but I already know who funded this study😂. Stay tuned as this study is being conducted,

Thanks very much!

Is it possible to have soft plaque in your heart but not at all in your carotid arteries ? Or do you think it goes hand in hand?
They tend to go hand in hand but not always
I figured they would. I have completely clear carotid arteries, so hoping I’m doing the right things with supplements and statin therapy.
