Dear Dr Barrett, keep writing. Its great to read a medic who can mix healthcare data with practical and sound observation and advice. As someone in the pharma industry for over 30 years, I have observed that good medicines often make good treatments, but good medicine treats the person and not just the illness or complaint. Keep it up - your article on Time was especially inspiring and thought provoking.
I just joined Substack and created my newsletter last month along with following yours and I have learned so much from reading your articles. Working in the medical field as well, your articles are very interesting and informative and beneficial for me to apply in my practice. Just like you, I feel that I’m the biggest learner from my articles. I thoroughly enjoy the research process of topics like functional medicine and mental health and reading my articles over and over once they’re published. Being consistent and posting once a week is so crucial in spreading our messages and develop a consistent writing practice. Can’t wait to continue reading yours!
No surprise with your growth Paddy, your articles are always impactful 👍

How can I search the content of your past posts? I recall something about small particle pollution and heart risk I would dearly love to find now.
Thank you! We all appreciate the time you put into these.
Very interesting as usual.. I enjoyed your radio contribution last week
Good to know. 😎 🤗 🔑 Jess
