Dr Barrett, the ProSommnus OAT device just had a clinical trial showing efficaciousness in moderate to severe OSA and may be trialled for severe OSA. As my AHI is 33 would it be worth a go on OAT or better to stick with APAP? Presently struggling to adhere to treatment with APAP - primal fear of suffocating in sleep with it ( irrational yes) but fear nonetheless. Thanks

This sounds like a great question for a sleep physician. They are the experts in management of OSA and am always guided by them in these situations.

Usually some improvements mostly at night time.
