Suspect a function of poor study design. No control group, non randomized, positive selection bias with a motivated group enrolling.

If the book explains why some bloodtests (apoB ?) are better than others (lipid banel ?), I'm buying a couple copies for family and friends haha

They don't trust me but they'll surely trust your book.
