This is great food for thought, thank you. I do have some reservations though when we get down to such a granular level. There is just so much complexity going on, and when we zoom back out to the macroscopic level and look at outcomes, statins usually disappoint in terms of dementia prevention. Same thing for Zetia outcomes, PSK 9 inhibitors, etc. I don’t have time now because I’m about to start work (!), but I will try to look at the Cochrane reviews and any prospective clinical trials in regards to the underlying mechanisms you have here, just not sure that tinkering with these variables makes large outcome differences. I wish it did, and I salute you in the battle against atherosclerosis and dementia, and thanks for the educational review herein 😊
